Standing Qigong workshop
10 AM to noon $30 Standing is one of the core preliminary practices traditionally taught before any of the movement practices. It has been used to help one learn to feel the movement of Qi/energy in the body, clear blockages and strengthen the bodies. This can also help clear mental/emotional patterns that may be in the blockages as well. We will be learning the basic neutral standing posture, the alignments that allow your physical body to relax and energy to flow, and how to feel the downward flow of Qi/energy to identify blockages and melt/dissolve/clear them. This workshop will be open to anyone of any ability. Standing is optimal, but this practice can be done seated or lying down. No need to have any experience with Qigong before! This class will be hybrid, please let me know if you plan to attend in person, otherwise a Zoom link will be sent out to all who register. Taoist Breathing
Breathing well is the most important thing we can do to lead happier, healthier lives according to Taoist Master BK Frantzis. Saturday June 27th 10-noon. $30 suggested or pay as you can. Hybrid, Zoom link will be sent after you register. Please let me know if you plan to attend in person. Introduction to Taoist Arts
This workshop will introduce you to some of the basic concepts in Taoist internal arts (such as circularity, the 70% rule, relaxation) by exploring Taoist Breathing, Circling Hands, Opening the Energy Gates, and Dragon & Tiger Medical Qigong. For those curious to learn more, but perhaps not ready to commit to a full class, or for those who are already practicing to deepen their practice. |

Centering Workshop This workshop will use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to help you find and maintain the centered, calm, clear state of consciousness (Channel 3 in Barnes MFR terms) so helpful for practicing bodywork, meditation, Qigong, or even living a more peaceful life. There will be a chance to help guide each other into this state in a simple, non-threatening way. This can also be an entry for interest in learning about using IFS to help dialogue in their own self healing, bodywork, or in relationships. A demonstration will be provided of this.
